Gifts

We do not have a gift registry and don't expect gifts. We know Poulsbo isn't super easy to get to and many of you have to fly in. Your making it to our wedding would be gift enough! If you would like to donate to our wedding fund to help offset costs, that would be above and beyond. Here is a link to our Venmo: @erin-carll or @themichaelbeach.

Location & Logistics

  • Nearest airport: Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
  • Event Location: 18348 Miss Ellis Loop NE, Poulsbo, WA
  • Parking instructions: The HOA has some strict parking rules, so please review these carefully:
    • Do not park on sidewalks.
    • NE Gustaf St is wide enough for you to park on the opposite side of the street from another car. If you park on another street, please plan to park on only one side of the street. (If not, outside of Gustaf, the neighborhood rule is that you are 10 feet ahead of or behind any cars on the other side of the street.)
    • Leave plenty of room for the mail carriers to drop off mail to the mailboxes.
    • Cars must be at least:
      • 5 feet from all driveways,
      • 15 feet from all fire hydrants, and
      • 30 feet from all stop signs/intersections.
  • Noise: We’ve notified our HOA about the wedding and will talk with neighbors, so that they can let us know if we’re being too loud. Unfortunately, Poulsbo has somewhat strict noise ordinances, so you may notice us trying not to shout too much.

Our Story

Our relationship officially began two years ago, but it was decades in the making! For much of our lives, we were living somewhat parallel to each other - so close to each other in Sarasota, both living in the Northeast in the late 00s/early teens, and moving to Seattle within a few months of each other in 2013. We spent 10 years just a few buildings away from each other at UW. But it gets weird and magical! We can pinpoint early connections in Sarasota, like when Michael had a recurring dream around 1989 where he was looking for something where Erin was living at the time! When Bumble finally brought us together, it didn’t take long before we knew we were super in love and aligned in all the ways that matter (and lots that don’t!).
